Satan entered Judas at the Last Supper. I presume Satan wanted to kill Christ, and used Judas to accomplish this task.
I don’t have the fortitude to watch the movie, “The Passion of The Christ” by Mel Gibson, but from what I hear about that movie - Satan was in the garden tempting Christ by saying, “You don’t have to do this.” Is this a reference to Sacred Tradition, or is there something in Sacred Scripture that I can’t find at this point? That would seem to go against what Satan was doing with Judas.
Are there any references regarding Satan and the Passion other than the one mention regarding Judas? I was wondering about the stations of the cross - it doesn’t seem to have any reference to Satan involved there.
When I look at Genesis 3:15, I wonder if the “striking at his heel” was in reference to the Passion. But, the snake is crushed by the resurrection?
