Saturday,a day of leisure?

How did you spend Saturday? Or for those yet to catch up how are you going to spend your Saturday?

I usually start the day with an early morning walk, and then 8 am Mass, Confession and the Rosary at my neighboring parish. I rest and read for a bit at home before going to my mom’s house to make sure she has something to eat and to help with the cleaning and the never-ending household chores. Then I take her to the 5 pm Vigil Mass. When I finally get back my house I’ll maybe watch something on Netflix and then call it a day. Like the book by Michael Casey, it’s “An Unexciting Life,” but that’s how I like it

supermarket, watching baseball on tv & saturday evening mass, dinner with family (something that doesn’t happen much during the work week)

I had a slow morning for a start,fed the animals and enjoyed splitting wood for the open fire Later I collected my son from where he’d played football and took him to work.I did some shopping for my parents then spent time with my son’s two year old
I put the t.v on but ignored it while on CAF .

Working like a slave in the yard so I can relax on Sunday.
