Jesus told St. Faustina that:

I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns in My Heart for souls, and you will understand this when you mediate upon My Passion. Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners; I desire their salvation. When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behafl of some sinner, i will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer:

“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.”

I have the alarm set on my cell phone for 3pm and say it everyday at that time. Thanks for posting this. God BLess.
you’re welcome… the reason i posted it is because i have known about it for a long time, but somehow overlooked the urgency in Jesus’ voice (seemingly)… about saying this one simple line over a particular sinner…

I think i have to make a list of persons to pray it over… otherwise, i will lose track…

I wonder if you have to pray the prayer over and over or is just once good ?

I usually pray it for my son and daughter in law and they need it as many times as I can say it!!!😃
That is the wya i feel about a lot of people i know… and i was praying the prayer several times over certain ones just to… well, to make sure… I think because… well, for my own sake more than their’s…:whacky:

(I have to be re-programmed 😃 )

Whenever I am in front of the image of Divine Mercy, I pray this. But I wasn’t aware of the grace of conversion that it brings to a particular sinner when you say it on their behalf. Thanks for the quote.

I think that it would be appropriate to say it in front of a cruxifix as well. Did St Faustina mention in her diary where we should say it?

I am and have always been concerned with saving souls. Unfortunately, some people misunderstand my intentions - even when I’ve explained them. On another thread here at CA, I was recently told, “keep your concentration on your own salvation and leave the rest of the world alone.” I found this comment very hurtful coming from a fellow Catholic.

My understanding is that Catholics are supposed to correct those in error, pray for others, etc…and most importantly, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy includes the words, “have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

Interested in your thoughts…

I suspect that a person who says such a thing to you and calls themselves Catholic may be a very misinformed, or uninformed Catholic or they arent really Catholic and are just pretending to be to stir things up on a Catholic forum. I suspect the latter because for one Jesus himself said to go and make disciples of all nations, not leave the rest of the world alone. Say the conversion prayer for that person 😃

It can be difficult to advise people today when religious discussions are not encouraged. We are often encouaged not to bring up religion in the workplace or a public place. A powerfull prayer to say is the chaplet of the Holy wounds. It is found on www.holysouls.com. it uses ordinary rosary beads.
Also there is a prayer to jesus agonising in the mount of olives found on www.jesusiam.com/agony and there are great offerings to those who say it with love and devotion
