Just recently I found my self reading something off of social media to my friend and as I kept on reading off more and more of the comments on a post I realized after one of the comments that the comment had used the phrase “Oh G…” and that I had repeated that phrase to my friend because I was telling her what they were saying. I wasn’t saying the comments with any intent or as my own, I was just reading them off one after another and I was saying them only to read them and even still I didn’t realize the comment used that phrase until after I had read it and then I finally realized what I had said.

Is this still considered a mortal sin?

Catechism 1857 states. “A mortal sin is sin whose object is
grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge
and deliberate consent.”

That being said, we lay folk can’t advise you on spiritual matters.
You should talk to a priest.

A mortal sin is a voluntary action done on your part. Since it is not your part but rather the commenter’s part then you most likely haven’t committed a sin. However if you are struggling, go to a priest just as @njlisa said.

This is not what blasphemy is, nor is it what “saying the Lord’s name in vain” is (2nd Commandment) in the pure form (which is called “perjury”)… even if you weren’t reading something

Relax. But the habit to get into is immediate small acts of contrition rather than immediately wondering “how big of a sin was this”? But no you are well outside the ballpark.
