We had dated for about a month, and then he broke up with me. After he broke up with me, I realized I loved him. When he started talking about getting back together, I told him. I figured that he should know. But then, I tended to do most things “wrong”, as in I told him that I didn’t date casually – after we had gone out only twice.
We got back together, and we got engaged after about six months of dating, in the summer between our junior and senior years of college. Our engagement was a little longer than I would have liked at about 10 months, but we wanted to get married after we graduated. So we did. We graduated Monday and married Friday of the same week.
We have now been married for nearly 15 years, and I love him more than ever. I also tell him this multiple times a day.
