Today, Stephen Bennett, director and founder of SBM, a pro-family Christian organization, has issued an “Open Letter” to Rosie O’Donnell to begin a private dialogue on the issues dividing and polarizing our nation today:
homosexuality. Kindly circulate this e-mail around to your lists.

Please pray as thousands of individuals on both sides of the issue, are now coming over to Stephen’s blog and reading the appeal to begin a discussion in love – not one in hate. We need to begin somewhere.

Many “gay” activists have already posted vile, vulgar language and material that was frankly disgusting – and they were banned immediately. Sadly, some Christians said some unkind words and their posts were also deleted.

Please stop by, leave your comments and prayers, and please pray that God’s will be done.

Doesn’t matter how “loving” you are in your language as you attempt to talk to active homosexuals. All the ones I’ve known, and plenty that I don’t, see any arguement against their “lifestyle” as hate, bigotry and victimization.
It’s their way or no way. If you don’t approve, you’re a “hater”. Period.

It’s always a bad idea to make generalizations. I’ve worked with some very intelligent, compassionate homosexuals. I believe they’ve made wrong decisions as far as their lifestyles, but they are still human beings whom God loves and in whose lives He’s working.
It’s a sad and difficult lifestyle, despite what they may say. They need our prayers more than lectures.

Praying and fraternal correction should be offered.
