Scapular Investiture?

I wore a red scapular of the passion for about a year, and then lost it.

I was invested with it by a priest, who read from a sheet that accompanied the scapular.

Here’s the question: do I need to re-up the investiture, or just wear a new scapular, without investiture or blessing?

What to do here?

I know that with a Brown Scapular, you don’t need to be reinvested when you begin to wear a new one as it says at the bottom of this page. I’m almost certain it’s the same with all of the scapulars.

…because it is YOU who is invested, not the scapular…but you may prefer to have the new scapular blessed…
