I hope you are all well! So when I had fallen away from practicing the faith, I was struggling with chastity. At this time in my life, I was still wearing a brown scapular, and I was wondering if that’s a detail I should have mentioned in confession. So basically, is wearing a brown scapular a kind of vow? If so, does falling into sexual immortality while wearing the brown scapular constitute a violation of this vow? And must it be explicitly confessed apart from confessing sexual sins? (Side note: I was not intentionally holding back this detail in my confessions since this dark time in my life.)
