I recently became a member of the Confraternity Of The Passion. I havn’t attended a meeting as of yet, but will in a few weeks which is the next meeting date.I also bought the black Passionist scapular to wear in devotion…

Is it OK to wear the scapular before it is blessed and before I attend a meeting?

Also, if anyone knows, what does the blessing consist of?
