Scared about the end of the world

Is anyone else scared about the end of the world? I know were in revelations at the moment and sister lucia said the last attack would be about marriage and family.

Please don’t just write “we don’t know the time/day” I know we don’t, but if you look at the signs, i believe its soon. Just sad because I really wanted to start a family.
 
If you look at human history, almost any period exhibited those “signs”. I suggest you are being a little overly scrupulous here. And, one of the great virtues of Christianity is hope. Hope for the future and through prayer and faith, have an attitude of faith that God will take care.

Besides, if there is a last day, and you are in the state of grace and in love with God and His law, the future is very bright indeed!

Not me. But who knows, when my time comes I could be the biggest chicken in the world.
 
Well, act like it is not the end of the world, because we likely have a while. We might still be in the minor chastisement so still a lot of stuff before we get to the “end game”.
But know that your world could end at any moment, at death.
 
There is a world of pure love, pure joy, and perfect fulfillment to come. Christ promised it; “I go to prepare a place for you.” Scared about the end of the world?, no, although the actual act of dying does give me pause. But I, in faith, see the kingdom beyond that final door. And I am looking forward to it.

These last 2,000 years have had some really turbulent times. People have been thinking that the end is just around the corner for centuries. Consider yourself lucky to live in these times even though you have your doubts. Live for God and raise your family to love God and you wont regret it.
 
My study of Holy Scripture leads me to believe that the world will have to endure the ravages of global nuclear war sometime before 2050. The Prophecy of the Popes says that the Church will have just one more Pope after Francis. I think that you are right to be concerned.
