This is kinda obvious, but you should pray. Pray now. Don’t ask for anything, don’t be long-winded, just say, “Jesus, I trust in you.”

Having a relationship with Jesus is just like any other relationship. You have to come to Him with your joys and not just your sorrows. Think of it this way: if I’m your friend and all you come talk to me about are your problems, sooner or later I’m going to tire of you (not gonna happen with Jesus) and you’ll start associating me with your problems, which means that you probably won’t talk to me unless you’re going through a rough patch. You have to change that. It’s well and good to ask the Lord for help, but don’t forget to share your joys with Him too. Prayer doesn’t have to follow Church texts and rules. You don’t even have to make it clear that you’re addressing Jesus. He knows. Just tell Him about your day. Thank Him for his unconditional love. You don’t even have to say anything, sometimes sitting in silence in front of an icon is just as healing and prayerful as actually praying.

yeah but I have no connection to God anymore and don’t know how to pray to him

Yeah because when I was in church once, I cursed God and hailed satan intensely in my mind

This is a bit out of our league, other than to assure you that forgiveness is always possible.
Consult a priest.
And if these are intrusive thought, please also contact your health care provider because it could be a symptom of a treatable condition.

God bless ❤️:pray:t2:

You can start by telling God you are really sorry for saying that. He knows you are sorry as do we cos you are feeling too guilty to pray. So get it out in the open and say to God ‘I’m sorry’. Then go to confession and do it formally.
As for praying, it’s like any friendship, starts off a bit bumpy, you talk and dont know what to say and are a bit formal or you babble etc. but once you get used to it and you get to know God then it’s really easy and familiar. You can start by saying the Our Father and maybe telling him how your day has been or something like that. Or saying a Morning Offering prayer in the morning until you feel more comfortable just talking. It’s entirely up to you. Perhaps look online for some Catholic prayers? we have hundreds. Pick a few you like and say them until you get used to it and then make up your own. God bless you

don’t know how to pray to him
It’s hard to pray when you’re not feeling bad, been there. There is no correct way to pray to God. What I suggest is start small. In the morning asking for his guidance and to be a representative of Christ. Or in the evening thanking him for your gifts of the day. Praying comes in many many forms. It’s all about finding what works best for you. Some sing, some kneel, some do reflections and thank him, and some just talk to him like he’s sitting next to them; the list could go on. Start small and try different things. Even if you don’t feel connected, try to see the beauty of his graces throughout your day or even at the end. Who knows maybe you find a prayer type that brings you closer to him.
