Scary situation on the way to adoration :(

First of all, I am so glad you were not harmed. How frightened you must have been. I was frightened just reading your post.

Secondly, thank you so much for posting this. Your description of the area around your church sounds just like mine. It is in a mostly residential neighborhood, but the immediate grounds around the church are an elementary school, and a large public park, both of which are very dark in the evenings. I have been in the parking lot many evenings and thought nothing of it. From now on, I will be more careful of my surroundings and what is going on around me when I am at church.

I am glad you were protected that evening and that your husband was given a heads-up as well.

Yeah, I mean, I don’t think the Church was the target per se, it was more of him following me to the Church - but since he did follow me in the surronding area… and also, this person may now realize that there is a 24 hour chapel with sometimes only one person in there at a time and see it as a ground for easy pickings. So I feel kind of bad that I may have lead him there, and now the other adorers are at risk.
I considered going to the police station last night or calling them…but I was afraid that I was overreacting - sometimes the police have a way of making you feel that way. Sleeping on it, I now think I have to tell them and I will either drop off a letter or get one in the mail by the end of the day.

You should definitely call the police. It’s pretty clear what whoever was in that van was intending to do, and I doubt it was your car they were interested in. There’d be no reason to drive toward you after you left it.

Glad your safe, I know that would’ve freaked me out so much aswell. I think anyone would feel that way! Thank God your okay though and no one was hurt (hopefully nothing happened to anyone later) anyways, you definatly had your guardian angel with you, St. Michael is amazing and is so powerful. Im not sure if you did this or not, but if the situation every occurs where you feel dangered keep saying the St.Michaels prayer, or start praying in tounges (if you know how to do so). Hope your feeling better today!
