I assume most people posting on CAF are pro-life, but how much do we really think about the reality of the situation.
Code: 
			According to the church there are 200 abortions performed per hour in the US. That translates to 1,752,000 per year.
The average number of live births in the US since 1996 is 3.9 million per year.

These are the abortions that we know about. Isn’t it time for some real action on this issue and not just sappy homilies on Sundays.
 
:bigyikes: I didn’t know hte numbers were do high! I pray for all the souls lost, and that those thinking of about having an abortion change their minds right quick.

I wasn’t aware that the numbers were that high either until I did some research and found that they were factual.
 
where did you get those stats? The stats from the US dept of health every year recently have the abortion rate a bit lower, around 1 million a year. Still way too high but alot lower than the other stat. When I read things like this, it makes it really hard for me to ask God to bless America and have mercy on it from terrorism. Lord knows we’ve practiced enough terror on our own children.
 
I read recently where China has 11 million abortions per year. Russia is 6 million and the USA is 1.5 million. The total worldwide since 1945 is one and on-half billion babies killed by abortion.

Public Health is notorious for under-reporting abortions.
