Please pray for this young, Australian woman who has been convicted by the Indonesian judicial system of smuggling drugs into the country. Her case was deeply flawed if not even illegal. Her human rights have been denied her. Now she lies in a filthy small cell for twenty years, suffering great psychological trauma, with no avail. The only thing left is our prayers and petitions to the Australian and Indonesian Embassies.

If you want to review her case google her name and choose among the many articles. You will be surprised at the way the whole trial was conducted . I could only conclude from the various sources that she is innocent and suffering terribly.

I realize that those who have serious health issues take presidence over this cause which I am willing to advocate: but I would like to know if it would be of anyone’s concern and interest to start a prayer group for our christian sister who has been wrongfully convicted and is suffering tremendously. This could be anyone of us. She was happily traveling to her vacation destination to meet up with her sister. How many of us travel abroad, not ever considering that someone could plant drugs in your unsecured baggage?

Please let me know what you think and offer a prayer along with the others. Thank you.
 
I do pray for her. Others in her situation also, but she did capture many hearts, didn’t she.

What a good idea to ask us to pray for her. No-one should have to go through what she has been through - innocent or guilty.

I’ll now offer for her a Pater Noster, Ave Maria and a Gloria Patri. I’ll remember her in my regular prayers also.
 
I honestly believe that Corby will be transferred back to Australia before the year is over. It does not matter if she was guilty or innocent anymore, it matters that she comes home.

If she was innocent, unfortunatly I fear she has been done an injustice for which there is no real specific person responsible and it would be difficult to find a specific person responsible. If she was guilty, she has clearly forgotten the crime and one has to seriously question if leaving her in jail just does nothing but damage, punishing for a crime that she doesn’t even remember doing.

God Bless her and bring her back to her home at least.
