While I’ve gathered some great information on the Schoenstatt movement, I was wondering if anyone could help me clear up some information regarding their shrines. I recently found out I live about 15 minutes from one and would like to visit. However, I’m having trouble finding information about it. Can anyone visit, or do you need to make an appointment, be on a retreat there, or belong to the group? Are there typical days and/or hours it’s open? Anything else I should know about visiting?

Many thanks!

Is this Schonstatt shrine near Rockport in TX?

If so, anybody can drive up and visit it; I have done so; but rarely, as for me, it is over 200 miles.

I’m sure there are limitations on the hours it is available, but you would need to call them to find out when.

Blessed MMXI and ICXC NIKA!
