For my part I think learning is never a bad thing. It always expands the lens we look at the world through. It can sharpen certain points and help us see clearer- like glasses and it can even change what we think. It challenges presuppositions and when done honestly demands that we see the world through different eyes.
God gave you a mind- use it. He gave you language to articulate those thoughts- use it. He gave you discernment to understand consequences- use it. Finally, He gave you charity to see your brothers and sisters as created by Him- live like it’s the most important thing in your life.
