Scrupulosity and schoolwork

Please pray for me, my scrupulosity is affecting my school work since I always think my books for English class are impure

I get it, I’m in school now as well. Don’t worry, it’s not like you can help it very much.
 
Hatikvah are you in hogh school or college. And is it public or private?
 
Hatikvah are you in high school or college? And is it public or private school?

The problem is that a good priest who is very holy said to avoid bad books as much as possible, but I consider just about everything bad!

I’m in a public high school, so I do not yet have college experience if that’s where you are. I prayed for you, but I will continue to do so.

I will pray for you. But ask your parents to make you an appt. with a Catholic psychologist, The Chancery offices can direct you to a good one to address your scruples.
Deal with it now. it will only get worse in college.

I can read my books and lose my soul and sanity and fall further into impurity, or I can lose my grades, my reputation, my sanity, and Faith. I wonder which choice is better…
 
Praying for you.

Yes, allow the Holy Spirit to talk to you, but there is no need to fear. I may never understand the ways of the world, but I can always take refuge in the graces received in the sacraments. Also remember those who do not have acess to sacraments.

That might have been Melodeonist, another young fellow among us, though I don’t think he is in school. He seems to be scrupulous a lot according to other posters. 🤷

That posters is in Jr. College, so yes, in school.

Praying for all the young people who suffer from scruples.

lol, I posted something else for apologetics for some school work a month ago, and for a specific book several months ago. I’m just doing a prayer request now.
