Howdy Seattle-ites (or those who know about Seattle)!
My husband is interviewing for a job that would land us in Seattle, WA (we currently live in Texas)!

So, we need recommendations on Conservative Catholic parishes (we prefer English Masses that are Liturgically traditional and true to Magisterial teaching, and a culture that is Conservative… which I hear is hard to find in Seattle).

Has anyone been to/regularly attend Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle? I have looked into it and it seems to fit the bill for what we want… just want to know a little more about it by someone who has been there.

Also, looking for recommendations for the following:
  • Montessori preschools (that are Conservative and friendly toward Christianity/Catholicism)
    -OR Conservative, Catholic/Christian homeschool groups
  • Neighborhoods that are safe and family friendly
  • Any other Seattle places of interest or info that you’d like to share… we’ve never been there!
I am a little nervous about the prospect of moving to Seattle because I have heard that the city is very Liberal and non-religious. I would love to hear from Seattle-ites about what the true nature of the city is in your experience. Has it been challenging to live out your Catholic faith, raise a family, or find like-minded (Conservative Catholic) groups to be a part of in Seattle?
I would love to hear any feedback about the city and any resources you might want to point me to! TIA!

Shalom in Christ,
Miriam
