When Billy Graham first started his meetings he coordinated with the local evangelical and baptist Churches to bring and bus people in. It was newspaper publisher Hearst that made Billy famous with publications in his newspaper about his crusades. Mr. Graham was a very effective speaker so soon he no longer had to bus people in.
