Hi,

Has anyone read ‘Seeing Is Believing: Experiencing Jesus Through Imaginative Prayer’ by Gregory A. Boyd (an evangelical author)? If so, what are your thoughts about this book? Do you recommend it?

Also, if you haven’t read this book, there is an interview with Gregory A. Boyd about this book here christianbook.com/Christian/Books/cms_content?page=688387&event=ESRCN

Can someone please read this interview (where Boyd seems to give an outline of his book) and let me know if everything he teaches/recommends in the inerview regarding imaginative prayer/spirituality:
  1. comes from ‘The Spiritual Excercises’ of St. Ignatius of Loyola? If not, which parts do not?
  2. if there he teaches/recommends anything that is goes against Catholic spirituality and/or Catholic beliefs?if so, what?
