Seeking help....a child dislike school

The 4-year old daughter of my friend don’t want to go to school. She don’t even like writing her name anymore. Maybe writing name is too easy and she get bored. She don’t like to play with other kids/classmates too.

Any advice?
 
Has she talked to the teacher? Sometime teachers can give valuable (name removed by moderator)ut or help the situation a long.
 
She also may not be ready for preschool. I don’t know where you live but I know that around here a lot of kids have the paper and pencil academics pushed on them beginning at the age of 3 by the parents, thus causing the schools to do the same (parental pressure causes the policy to change at the school level.
 
If you can afford it, i highly recommend a Montessori school. My daughter use to be like this, now, when she had a day off from school, she keeps asking when she will go back to school. She loves it totally. It took about two years from our part and counseling to get to this point. She was shy, she didn’t know how to socialize etc… Anyway, she is back on top of her game.

Until then, i resonate fully to talk with the teacher and to come up with a plan.

I pray for this little girl for her needs to be fully understood, for her to be protected in all ways and for her to make great friends. Amen
