Premise: God is omniscient and he knows all things, past, present and future.
  1. Did He create man with free will knowing that man would sin?
  2. Is it possible for God to choose not to know?
  3. Was the “happy sin of Adam” preempted by God’s contingency plan to send His Son as a Savior?

The Summa! (I’d be more specific but I dont have the time or motivation to pull up specific questions.) Is this for school, or just personal interest?

Personal interest. I have looked through the table of contents of a two volume set of the summa and find it a little dense. Just wondering if there isn’t someone who has thought of these interrelated questions and could recommend a discussion about them. Thanks!

I think there’s a summarised version of the summa by Dr Peter Kreefe, I think that’s how his name is spelt. Perhaps his version would be more accessible, easier to find your answers in.

God bless.

Yes I believe that’s the one. I saw it mentioned in a thread somewhere today actually. It sounded helpful and may be far easier to navigate. Thank you.

Thanks very much for your suggestions. I shall look up the summa of the summa, a humorous title.
