I would think self-gratification would come under this heading too

Because self-gratification is a foreshadow of the so-called despair of Christ when he cried, “My God, My God, why have you abandoned Me?”

When two or more agree there is God, so basically if you are able to be pleased with yourself you are denying the need for God.
