Selfish Prayer Request

Long story short, I may or may not have OCD but I had a thought that if I don’t come back to the Church. which I don’t plan to, then perhaps a child or more will get abused because of me like from the crisis and another thought or voice that if I do this, then kids in someone else’s family will get hurt.

Please pray that they and others I “worry” about or feel like I’m affecting are safe and well and protected and not hurt.

I’m sorry I don’t really understand your prayer request I will pray for peace for you.
 
Please pray for anyone I put at-risk, like I hope it’s a thought but if it is a voice and something bad will happen to others because I don’t do what I ought to, please pray for them to be safe and well.
 
My friend, God is not a butcher, He does not randomly hurt people as a consequence of our sins. He disciplines those He loves with the love of a Father.
I am praying for you, that you have a greater knowledge of the character of God. I recommend quietly considering psalm 23, or just reading through the gospels.

Yeah, but isn’t it more consequential [please note, there’s more to story for me] though like for example, I read stories about this Blessed who saved a life from suicide from following the voice of God? For me, it’s more like, what if my job is to come back and help repair the Church from its crises as a penitent, but if I don’t, then the Church doesn’t heal and the horrible things continue because of me?

Also, I’m obstinate and more. But thank you so much for the reassurance, if this is OCD, that’s not good but thank you. Either way, still please for those I worry about causing hurt and those I do.

You think that if you don’t go back to the Church, God will hurt someone?

God does not actively hurt people.

We come back to the Church due to his Grace not to his blackmail.

God does not blackmail. No offense, but this is totally absurd.

Where did you learn this from?

Praying that know more about the Grace of God. It’s wonderful I assure you.

Why aren’t you coming back to the church. I see you are an RCIA grad. Perhaps you didn’t understand things well and have fears?
