No, it is in no way shape or form a moral thing to do. Wherever there is some form of economic trade, or a business, anyplace that money passes hands, there will be a black market. In places where selling organs is legal, a lonely person wandering down the street isn’t likely to just be held up, they’re likely to be beaten unconscious, dragged into a van or a warehouse, and cut open and their organs taken out. While they’re still alive. This stuff happens much more frequently than it should.
Heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, all of these sell for tens of thousands of dollars. Wherever money goes, so will those who worship it.
I’ll say it again, NO, it is not moral, because people’s natural tendency to sin will lead to corruption and greed. People are killed for their wallets, they’re killed in bank heists. Why should this be any different to them? The only difference is, now the person’s innards are the target, and their worth much, much more than their wallets.
Now if someone wants to sign up to donate their organs (before they die), then yes, that’s fine, but even in that case, they still need to be watched like a hawk. Even today, in the U.S., doctors will steal organs for rich patients who need the transplant, and are willing to go behind the law.
Marketing human organs is immoral, because it evil into the very sanctity of human life. It is no different from stem cell research, when they used aborted children for their studies, besides the fact that the law hasn’t made it legal yet.
