Hi, forumers!
Looking for advice – my mom has serious health problems and she is lonely because she can’t get out of the house for more than 2 hours at a time. I was thinking maybe she could correspond with another Catholic senior by mail. But the problem is that Mom is really smart, and although she likes birdwatching and baseball, she also likes to learn about history and government and not many people want to talk about these “heavier” topics. Also she gets depressed that she can’t travel, so if another senior likes to travel, it might not be good to talk about that (or maybe it would, because then she can vicariously learn about it through their eyes?) Anyway, I’ve been able to find some people online, but I want to find a Catholic senior woman who has similar interests as my mom.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
