Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today ends our 33 Day journey to prepare ourselves to consecrate or to renew our Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary!, as described by St. Louis de Montfort. As promised I will post a link to the Act of Consecration which St. Louis wrote, so that anyone who may not yet have a copy may prayerfully offer themselves through the words given to St. Louis for the Church.

St. Louis composed this prayer, as part of his book “The Love of Eternal Wisdom”. Before offering ourselves today on this Feast of Our Mother Mary, by praying the Act of Consecration, let us complete our prayers for the end of the Journey first praying : Litany of the Holy Spirit, Ave Maris Stella and the Litany of the Name of Jesus.

If it is possible for you to participate at Mass and pray this Act of Consecration after receiving Holy Communion, that would be beautiful but Covid -19 restrictions may prevent that,— nevertheless choose a time and place conducive to your desire to honor God through this Consecration which is a perfect renewal of our Baptismal Promises.

After you have prayed your Act of Consecration, if you haven’t enrolled yourself in the Association of the Queen of all Hearts, I encourage you to do so. (after you pray your Act of Consecration for the first time).

Thanks to all who have been on this Journey with me and others who continue to seek the Holiness to which we are called by God, thanking Him for All He has given to us in order that we may spend our eternity with Him.

The Act of Total Consecration can be found at the end of St. Louis de Montfort’s book on the Love of Eternal Wisdom online
at :The Love of Eternal Wisdom | EWTN.

If you are praying it for the first time, hopefully you will print it out and sign it. If you are renewing your Consecration, may we all pray for one another for the Church and for ALL those in most need of God’s Mery though Mary.

The Magnificat is the song of the most holy Heart of Mary

I call the Magnificat the true Canticle of the most holy Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary for several reasons.

First of all, it originated in her Immaculate Heart and its melody vibrated her heart-strings before it found voice on her lips.

Secondly, the words were sung only through the impetus and inspiration flowing from her Heart—from her corporeal, spiritual and divine Heart. The corporeal Heart of Mary, being filled with acute and extraordinary joy, impelled her most holy mouth to sing this Magnificat with extraordinary fervor and jubilation; her spiritual Heart, being wholly delighted and enraptured in God, brought forth from her hallowed lips these ecstatic words: “And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.” But Her divine Heart, that is to say, the divine Child who was hidden in her blessed womb and dwelling in her Heart, the soul of her soul, the spirit of her spirit and the Heart of her Heart, is the primary author of this canticle. It is this divine Heart which inspired the mind of the holy Mother with the thoughts and truths contained in the canticle. It is the Heart of Jesus who pronounces through her, its prophetic utterance of praise.

Thirdly, the Magnificat is the canticle of the Heart of the Mother of uncreated love, that is, the canticle of the Holy Spirit, Who is the spirit and the Heart of the Eternal Father and the Divine Son. The Holy Spirit is also the Heart and the Spirit of the Virgin Mother, permeating and possessing her so completely that her very presence and voice filled with the same spirit St Zachary, St Elizabeth and her unborn child, St John the Baptist.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thanks again, dear hazcompat, loyal son of Mary our Mother!

What a perfect quote from another loyal son, St. John Eudes who spoke of Mary’s Admirable Heart! Mary sang her beautiful canticle after going with haste to share Jesus Whom she carried within her womb by the power of her Holy Spirit. What precious words from St. John Eudes:
… the Magnificat is the canticle of the Heart of the Mother of uncreated love, that is, the canticle of the Holy Spirit, Who is the spirit and the Heart of the Eternal Father and the Divine Son…
Blessings to you and to all on this Feast of the Nativity of our Mother Mary, given to us all by Jesus from His Cross. Let us by His Grace obey Jesus’ words:
Behold your Mother:

And take her into our lives!
Totus Tuus.

Dear Margaret-Ann,

Thanks so much for your “heart”, on this sweet Feast of Our Mother Mary’s Nativity! How I pray many more hearts will beat with love for Jesus through Mary’s Immaculate Heart today and every day God gives us before we appear before Him in eternity!

In these past 33 Days of preparing for my re-consecrating myself totally to Jesus through Mary, there were several passages in St. Louis De Montfort’s treatise on “True Devotion” that impressed me more deeply than I can remember from all the other many times I’ve pondered the words in this little book. One quote is from paragraph 66; St. Louis de Montfort wrote
  1. As though I had said nothing so far to further her honor, grant me now the grace to praise her more worthily, in spite of all her enemies who are also Yours. I can then say to them boldly with the saints, "Let no one presume to expect mercy from God, who offends His holy Mother."
The other quote is from paragraph 266:
266… Implore Mary to lend you her heart so that you may receive her Son with her dispositions. Remind her that her Son’s glory requires that He should not come into a heart so sullied and fickle as your own, which could not fail to diminish His glory and might cause Him to leave. Tell her that if she will take up her abode in you to receive her Son - which she can do because of the sovereignty she has over all hearts - He will be received by her in a perfect manner without danger of being affronted or being forced to depart. “God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved.”

Tell her with confidence that all you have given her of your possessions is little enough to honour her, but that in Holy Communion you wish to give her the same gifts as the Eternal Father gave her. Thus she will feel more honored than if you gave her all the wealth in the world. Tell her, finally, that Jesus, whose love for her is unique, still wishes to take His delight and His repose in her even in your soul, even though it is poorer and less clean than the stable which He readily entered because she was there. Beg her to lend you her heart, saying, "O Mary, I take you for my all; give me your heart."
By God’s Grace, may we Love God more with every beat of our hearts, beating in union with the Pierced Hearts of Jesus living in Mary.
