I am a little confused. I was reading a critique of the Seventh Day Adventists on your site and was struck by the fact that you say they incorrectly say that there is eternal damnation in hell.
Yet the Catholic Church has changed its view on hell and is now saying that hell is a condition of alienated man before God; that is to say it is a personal torment experienced by those stuck in a permanent alienation from God, rather than a literal place of torment.
I read this in the media, Newsweek, in particular, published an entire magazine on this change in church doctrine.
