Severe financial hardship - prayers please

My husband has been out of work for some time, and we’ve been falling behind with bills. Christmas presents are out of the question – at this point, I’m just praying our electricity doesn’t get shut off. Prayers that he can find a job immediately or that someone can help us financially until he finds a job would be greatly appreciated.
 
You and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Lord please help this family and all families struggling for gainful employment.

St Joseph please intercede on behalf of this family and all those struggling for gainful epmployment. Help them attain their temporal needs and guard them along with our Holy Mother Mary in this diffucult time.

Glory be to the Father, tha Son & the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the begining, is now

Praying very hard to St. Joseph for your husband to find a good job!
 
I have been praying to Jesus to help us, to let us find some way to pay our bills, and I of course started this thread looking for prayers. Well, I just received my Christmas bonus from my employer, and it is shocking and I can’t believe it! I didn’t know we even get bonuses, let alone how much it is!! :bigyikes: Thank you for your prayers, and thank you God for taking care of us!!! This won’t fix everything, but it is an awesome gift that will help so much!!! :extrahappy: Continued prayers are always welcomed :o and please, offer a prayer of thanks to God for this wonderful gift. :grouphug:
 
He does work in mysterious ways. Glory to Him. Trust in the Lord, because He knows what you need more than you.

Hi Belle10 –

I will keep your husband in my prayers and please keep my husband in yours. Just last Friday he was laid off of his third job in three years. No fault of his, just not enough money to keep him. It has been very hard on his self confidence.

Praise God for the bonus money! He does provide for us, it’s just hard to keep trusting when month after month you don’t know how you’re going to make it through and you’re constantly evaluating every penny spent, including food. We really don’t buy anything extra at all, just pay the bills, gas and food.

It does make Christmas time less commercial, but I sometimes feel bad for my children.

I don’t know if it’s the fact that we’ve been through this before, or what, but neither of us are as anxious about things this time around as we have been before. I attribute much of that to all those who are praying for us; it’s no merit of our own, but God’s grace lifting us up. I told Jesus yesterday that since He promised to take care of us, I am surrendering this problem to Him. “It’s Your problem, Jesus, so you take care of it and let us know what to do!”
 
Praying for your DH to find a job and also praying for thanksgiving that you got a bonus!

I see just so many people who need jobs…and here I am, a business owner with employees that…just…well, God help us all.

I will pray for you. And praise God for your bonus!
