Sexual sin

So I have a question regarding sin. If I watch a movie and experince something (and if I continue to watch the movie anyway), am I committing sin? Now, I know that we are made in a certain way, but might this be seen as “an occasion of sin?” Am I violating an important rule? My question is, “Am I lusting?” I’m speaking about a man having an erection.

The occasion of sin should be avoided. The occasion itself does not equal sin, but if you find yourself in the occasion of sin, get out of it and avoid it.

As for erections, they happen all the time for various reasons, especially if you’re young. I wouldn’t get too worked up by it. If you get an erection and you know why, though, the above definitely applies.
