I just had to share the incredible news from over Easter. My girlfriend, mentioned here, and here, was visiting me over Easter. We went to the Easter Vigil, and after I took her to our chapel (really the original mission church for the area) where there was a copy of the bible on the Altar. It was open to Tobit. There was a small space hollowed out of the top margin. In that space was a ring. She’s wearing the ring now! 😃

Thank you all for your kind words. We are still so excited! She’s 1,200 miles away again, which is normally unbearable, but now doesn’t seem so bad. (and we got an extra 24 hours together thanks to a malfunctioning jet engine!)
