Additional verses in the passage have parellels to Mary’s magnificat (like all generations calling Judith blessed among women). Another woman who struck the head of the enemy of the People of God, for whom similar blessedness were declared:
Judges 5:24 Blessed among women be Jahel the wife of Haber the Cinite, and blessed be she in her tent. 25 He asked her water and she gave him milk, and offered him butter in a dish fit for princes. 26 She put her left hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workman’s hammer, and she struck Sisara, seeking in his head a place for the wound, and strongly piercing through his temples.

Mary is of course also a figure of the whole Church, and we all, united to Christ with Mary, must crush the serpent by God’s power:
Rom. 16:20 And the God of peace crush Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

According to the USCCB site, Gen. 3:15 says, “they will strike your head”. And what of the foreshadowing in Judith, and Judges?

Mary had a faith that Your Spirit prepared, and a love that never
