Since the game is a standalone with no concern of cheating a larger community then you can pretty much disregard all I said.

And you can take the advice of others who have pointed out that many cheat codes are built by the developers. There is no sin here, your friend is using the game as intended.

Thank you for the replies. … I also thought it was wrong since it may have been taken from the studyguide or something but I suppose there is no way to tell that.

Even if the information were taken from a “study guide”, it wouldn’t be a copyright violation. Photocopying the pages, or typing word-for-word the text would be, but not restating the strategies or cheat-codes using your own words.
