Should I become a nun?

Hello! I’m a sixteen year old girl in high school, and I’m unsure of what I want to become in the future. For I while, I was interested in becoming an occupational therapist or a doctor of some sort, but now I’m not so sure. I’ve started thinking of taking up the religious life once I leave high school. However, I don’t want to make the wrong decision. Is being a nun right for me? I’m not sure… It can be so frustrating - I can’t seem to find myself. What should I do?

Hi,

Slow down and enjoy the ride. You don’t have to make a decision tomorrow. Right now you need to check things out. I will give you a link to a website on religious life. You have plenty of time to see what is most appealing. I suggest that you have a regular confessor who can get to know you and who can give you advice. You are in our prayers.
