Should I feel guilty?

Ok, this is my first time on here, and I just have a quick question. I’m only 18 years old, and my mother passed away recently. I’ve always wanted to get to Heaven, but after she died my desire has grown immensely. Should I feel guilty for this increase in passion only because I believe that is where I will see my mother?

You love your mother, death does not break that bond of love. Love of God and each other is the basis of the Gospel. The funeral prayers hope for the day that we “are with [God] and [the deceased] forever.”

You have nothing to feel guilty about, your desire is a Christian desire.
