Should I forgive loans in the Jubilee Year of Mercy?

With next year being a jubilee year, am I supposed to forgive outstanding loans I have with other people (brother-in-law, son, etc.)?
 
You are not required to do so, but if you are able to do so without financial hardship, then it certainly could be meritorious to do so and an appropriate way to honor the Jubilee Year of Mercy (which begins in December).
