Should I go to a wedding reception for divorced Catholics?

Is it moral to attend a wedding reception when one of the parties is a divorced Catholic? We would not be at the ceremony that will be performed by a someone who does not belong to a major religion. The parents are very good friends and they will feel slighted if we do not attend.
 
If you are not attending the marriage ceremony on principle, then I cannot recommend attending a party afterward given in honor of the marriage. As for the parents, very good friends should understand that not all of their friends will be available to attend every ceremonial milestone in their children’s lives. If you decide not to attend, all that is required of you is to decline the invitation politely.
