My sister-in-law just got a job working at an abortion clinic. She knows what I think about abortion, and that I hate the fact that she works there. She has four children and needs a babysitter. In the past, when I could, I have always taken care of the children for her while she worked at other jobs. I am not working now and she has asked me to babysit for her again while she works at the abortion clinic. I don’t know if I should. Is it moral for me to help her in this way?

Dear Am,

In this instance, to babysit is to enable her to help people abort babies. I think you know the answer to this one! But just in case you don’t, the answer is an emphatic NO! To help her is to share in the taking of innocent life. This is a great opportunity to witness to the sacredness of all human life!
