Should I Inform The Priest Of This? (Not a question about confession lol)

A Priest set me up with someone who he thought might be a good mentor or coach and as it turns out he has visions, dreams, and allocutions. He specifically said that he’s a mystic and has visions and that God talks to him, not audibly but he basically described an allocution.

Yes I know this is shady, but my question is…

Is this something one should inform the parish priest about? This parish is full of college students who are very zealous but also very impressionable.

In South American countries, this mentor would be called a medium which dangerously mixes Catholicism with occult. Some people can’t resist these people, but you should resist.
 
He’s read too much of the Saints without understanding what he’s reading is what I think it is. He’s a know-it-all who thinks he’s made some major headway in the interior life. But you may be onto something!

I don’t even need to try to resist this one.
