Is it appropriate for a Catholic to make the Sign of the Cross at gatherings, dinners etc. after a Protestant has said the blessing over the meal? I always do this as a sign of my faith.
The sign of the cross is always appropriate for anyone who appreciates the love of the Holy Trinity as expressed on the cross. If someone asks you about it, what a great opportunity to share its significance.
