Should I participate in well wishes after a sterlization?

A Catholic woman at work informed our group that she was having a sterlization procedure done this week. I tried to talk her into not going with that option. I don’t believe I should sign a "Get Well’ card. Am I wrong? I don’t want to hurt her feelings, but I don’t want her to think I condone her actions. She knows that I disapprove.

Hi,

Of course, you should not sign it. You would be congratulating her for doing something that is sinful. You would also be nullifying all that you had said to her regarding this action. There is altogether to much concern in our culture for feelings over the truth.
