Should I support an American Cancer fundraiser?

I have been asked to walk in the Relay for life Fundraiser for Cancer. Is this a fundrasier Catholic 's to be involved? Is this linked to the Susan B.(Breast Cancer Fondation which is linked to funding abortion? I want to help but what should a catholic do?
