Should the universe be destroyed because of sin?

True or false : It is better that the universe be destroyed than that one sin be committed.
 
Dear Wayne,

God has already answered this one. He loves us so much and sees so much potential in our ability to love, that he allowed sin at the beginning of creation. The universe is more about His love than about our sin.
