Is a large bottle of hand sanitizer allowed to be on the credence table? It is visible to the congregation and I think it implies that there is a likely passing of germs from the hands of those giving Communion to the people receiving. Shouldn’t the bottle be located somewhere else?

If there is another appropriate, accessible place in a particular sanctuary for the hand sanitizer, then it is a good idea not to place it on the credence table, which is ordinarily used for liturgical implements. But if there is no other appropriate, accessible place, then I think congregants should stop worrying about it and simply be grateful that appropriate precautions for public health and safety are being followed.
