I’ve noticed that the Holy Spirit is mentioned much less in prayer than the Father and Son. Or is it implied when we pray to God we are praying to the Holy Trinity?

For example one might say “Jesus help me with struggle” or “God help me with this struggle”. But I rarely see some one saying “Holy Spirit help me with this struggle”.

It seems to me that the Holy Spirit is more often invoked for aid in reading Scripture, saying effective and selfless prayer, and the like. Less often prayed to in the way you’d pray to the Father or Son.

That’s just my impression, though.

I often pray to Jesus and ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to certain people, both friends and enemies. My thinking is that there’s no better gift I could give someone than the presence of the Holy Spirit for repentance, conversion and love.

Please pray to him more. I wholeheartedly believe if all Christians, especially all Catholics, prayed to the Holy Spirit more the world would get better. He is our helper on earth. Our comforter. Our advocate. He even gets his own sacrament. Remember, he is GOD the Holy Spirit.
This is what Jesus had to say about the Holy Spirit:

25 “I have said these things to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.”
-John 14:25-26

26 “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf.”
-John 15:26

28 “Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”— 30 for they had said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
-Mark 3:28-30

31 Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
-Matthew 12:31-32

21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” 22 When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
-John 20:21-22
