I agree completely…I was anointed during the Vigil Mass yesterday…my pastor thought it would be better having the anointing during the Mass rather than in private afterwards… it’s an amazing feeling having the entire community praying for you.

I got home from the hospital this afternoon…visit the surgeon this Friday…begin physical therapy next week…if all goes well, I should be functioning reasonably well within three or four months.

Things are going well…thanks for asking.
The operation was a reverse total shoulder replacement, on the right shoulder. I had the same surgery on the left side three years ago,so I knew going in what to expect. Things are going well - I saw the surgeon’s assistant yesterday…no infection, and they didn’t have to remove as much muscle as last time.
I’m truly blessed in that I have a loving and patient wife…she’s my therapist through the passive and assisted phases of therapy, and helps me in more ways than I can count.
