Hi! I love watching shows and movies but I find that I have to change so many or fast forward because they are so inappropriate!! Can you please suggest some things for me to watch? They don’t have to specifically be religious, just anything that is positive and that I don’t have to fast forward (can be religious or not). Thank you, I’d appreciate it 🙂

I think you just described why I watch so many children’s movies

Marvel’s Daredevil is an excellent show on Netflix. The protagonist, Matthew Murdock, is a committed Catholic and it plays a large role in the show.

House MD is really good. Don’t know if you like Star Wars but The Mandalorian is excellent.
Also if you’re signed up to Disney+ there’s a great series of documentaries called “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” that is quite interesting.

What do you consider “inappropriate”? It’s hard to know what to recommend because that line is different for everyone.

Off-topi confession time: I really miss video rental stores. This modern arrangement paying one party to stream one thing and another party to stream another really stinks. In our pre-children days, my husband and I would make it an occasion and go rent really nerdy, esoteric films.

On topic, I rewatched Inside Out with my little guy and remembered why I love that movie so much. 💕

Anything with graphic sexual content is probably what bothers me most.
I really enjoyed the first season of The Terror if you’re into thriller/horror stuff. Some disturbing violence in a few parts but no sexual content.

“Silver Linings Playbook” is excellent. I don’t think there’s any sex or violence in it. At least not that I remember. Also, call me juvenile, but I LOVED “Wonder Woman” starring Gal Gadot. I think she’s my new main squeeze. Otherwise I mostly watch cable news. I too dislike sex in a movie although not for the reasons most here do. To me it’s like looking at pictures of food when you’re hungry. Doesn’t make sense.
