According to St. Matt. writing in Chapter 5 of the Gospel, we as Christians (Pro-Lifers) are to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect by way of really LOVING, BLESSING, DOING GOOD and PRAYING for our enemies (Doctors who perform abortions).
How can we as Christian Pro-Lifers really show love to those doctors who choose to perform abortions? According to the New Testament: Love is long suffering, Love is kind, Love acts in humility, Love behaves becomingly, Love is calm, Love believes the best about people, Love rejoices in truth, Love bears all, Love believes all, Love hopes all, Love endures all things and love never fails. How can we truly and regularly express this time of Love the Gospel teaches us about to Doctors who perform abortions?
Also, what about Blessing them? To bless is to speak well of - we need to find a way to Bless them by focusing on their being created in the image and likeness of God and Loved by God - which gives them value rather than focusing on their sin.
What about Doing Good to them? What ways can we strive to Do Good to them? If it’s raining, great them with an umbrella to excort them into the Clinic perhaps (although would that be risking arrest?). What can we do?
Praying for them? Hey, that’s the easy part! We all know how to pray for someone.
This thread is to focus on the positive of what we can do - please no high jackers. (Our true enemy of abortion is Satan - however, through his influence, it is the doctors who perform this evil and girls/women who go to abortionists requesting this evil.)
