Hello, i am wondering what do skeptics say about the Shroud and Passion Relics connection.

As we know - The Sudarium of Oviedo has almost 70 front and 50 back simillar points that are identical to the Turin Shroud’s “points”. The Blood group is AB and it is scientificaly proven that both items have covered the same person. The fact that the informations about Sudarium come from 570 A.D are disproving the Shroud’s connection to medieval times. AB blood group + 14 points proven by scientists in 1994 at the International Congress on the subject of the Sudarium of Oviedo during 5 years of research.

The so called “Veronica’s Veil” from Manopello also consists 95% similarity to the face from the Shroud of Turin. Both images superimposed on each other give the perfect “fusion” creating one very clear face. There is no paint on it (proven by Heinrich Pfeiffer and Donato Vittore).

The next one is the Holy Tunic of Argenteuil, in 1998 the Optics Institute in Orsay admitted that:
The Tunic and the Shroud covered the same person. But the informations about the Tunic come from 590 A.D. So it is simply impossible that the Shroud was “forged in 14th century”. The blood stains on the Tunic also show the blood group AB.

Another one is the Dress from Trier, also showing the man who should wear this must have been 180cm high - man on the shroud has 181.

Crown of Thorns - after a long research, studies have confirmed the place of blood flow with the anatomy of the arterioles and veins on the head. This is another proof for the Shroud’s authenticity, because the bloodstream was described and known only in 1628 (the Crown “fits” on the shoud’s person’s head).

The Miracle in Lanciano - showed that there is a piece of a Heart with blood group AB and also blood with the AB group - it’s a Catholic Holy Mass authentic miracle.

To quick sum up - there are so many articles about the authenticity of the SoT that it would take too much take to put them here. The “most scientists” doubting comes from their personal belief, not facts. I know this because my colleagues from work say “it’s fake, it’s a lie” without ANY knowledge, beleieve me, they’ve never read anything about the shroud and they still believe it’s fake.
I think that there is no possibility that the SoT could be a forgery or a fake. There are too many relics that show the SoT age way before 14th century. Just the fact with the AB blood group in every Passion Relic + Holy Mass Transubstantiation miracles in Lanciano - considering that we discovered to distinguish the blood groups after 1901- makes the forgery/fake theory completelty false and unscientific.

Btw. It’s impossible to recreate the shroud till today - Luigi Garlaschelli’s copy is in fact laughable…
And another one: Why don’t we find similar (to the SoT) forgeries? If a common forger could make one in medieval times, shouldn’t we find more of them?

The image was not ironed on - painted on - it’s 100% proportional (not in Gothic style) - It has very unique features that no other image in the world has.

What’s your opinion, do you agree with me?

God Bless.

I believe that the skeptics have absolutely no excuse/reason to doubt the shroud’s authenticity. The evangelists too - maybe the authors of the gospels have hidden the shroud for purpose because of being scared that someone could have wanted to destroy the shroud… Nobody knows that. I believe that the shroud is authentic too.

I agree with you. There are experts that state that the reason the Turin Shroud failed the carbon dating is because some of the fibers were medieval and stitched in by the Poor Claires to repair tear and wear in certain areas.

Yes, the main point here is the scientificaly proven similarity with other Relics (mentioned here) which we know are well documented since 6th century a.d. All the Passion Relics covered the same person, that is very well proven.
The „forgery” idea is irrational - it’s simply impossible.
Btw. In 2013 the Shroud was dated with a special machine which showed that it may come from the 1st century A.D ( infrared spectrometry FTIR, Raman spectrography and mechanical analysis by Giulio Fanti and the University of Padua).
