This Presbyterian claims that the the Aramaic translation of Matthew 16:18 is
“You are KE’PHA’ (a movable stone) and upon this SHU`A’ (a large massive rock) I will build my church.”

Has anyone heard of this?

It’s here…

No. I’d always heard there was one word in Aramaic for Rock and that was “Kepha”.

To cast doubt on his thesis (which I admittedly didn’t read), remember “Cephas” is the Greek transliteration of Kepha, not Shu’A’.
